Wouldn’t it be nice to have your website updates automatically appear in on your Facebook page? If your website’s news section or blog as an RSS feed, this is possible using the Notes Application in Facebook.
There are some advantages to importing your updates into your Facebook page:
First you will have to make sure you have the Notes Application installed on your Facebook page. If you do not have the Notes Application installed, you can go to the Notes Application page and install it. You can either import notes into your personal Facebook profile or to one of the pages that you are the Administrator too. It is best practice that you post notes about your products and services to your Facebook page as the Fans associated with this page represent a target audience that has more relevance to the updates.
Once you have installed the Notes Application in your Facebook page, follow these instructions:
Each time your website is updated and a new post is included in your RSS Feed, Facebook will pick up this post and also display it in all your fan’s News Feeds.
A note that Facebook does not always import RSS Feeds immediately, but they seem to all show up in less than an hour. This can give you an opportunity to change that last second typo, if necessary.
