El Chango is a Vancouver based web development and online consulting company that specializes in providing quality web design, custom application development in PHP / MySQL, and online marketing and search engine optimization consultation. Since 1999, we have produced effective, noticeable, and functional online solutions to a wide variety of clients from small and medium sized businesses to larger government organizations.
Michael Chang is Director of El Chango Media and is responsible for coordinating projects with clients as well as anything technical. Michael has been building websites since the mid-90′s including development on large sites for Tourism British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. During his time at Tourism BC, he worked on several web development projects for HelloBC.com and also spent time working with Online Marketing Team, developing online marketing strategies, search engine optimization initiatives, and tracking web analytics.
Michael earned a double major in Economics and Communication from Simon Fraser University and is one of the few who is able to bridge the gap between the technical and marketing side of the website development world. He has been a guest speaker at the Canadian RV & Camping Convention and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In his spare time, he is an avid musician and hiker.
